Why I built it

I wanted one app for everything I track: meals and macros, water, body weight and measurements, and my workouts. Every app I tried did one or two of these well, and the rest badly or not at all - so I ended up juggling several of them.

The ones that came close were full of things I never asked for: feeds, badges, ads, upsell pop-ups. And too often a basic feature - a chart further back than a week, editing a meal, a simple export - was locked behind a subscription.

So I built the app I wanted to use myself: everything in one place, quick to log, and nothing in the way.

What GainzLog stands for

  • The core is free. Logging meals, water, weight, measurements and workouts, goals, charts and your history are never behind a paywall. Paid plans only raise limits, such as how many templates and workout plans you can keep and how far back your charts reach.
  • No bloat. No social feed, no ads, no streak guilt. Every screen is there because it helps you log or understand your progress.
  • Fast on your phone. GainzLog is built for one-handed logging between sets or at the table, and you can install it like an app. It even saves entries when you are offline.
  • Your data is yours. No trackers and no selling data. You can export everything or delete your account at any time - see the Privacy Policy.
